Learn clay techniques while creating unique clay keepsakes and memories with your favorite people! Rates include use of the studio for 2 hours, demonstration and instruction, clay, high fire glazing, and firings. You can pick up the finished works in about 4 weeks after your event to allow time for drying and firing. Take our pottery wheels for a spin or choose a unique handbuilding project (for example pinch pots, coil vases or slab plates) that everyone will love. Day, evening and weekend times available.
$75 per person for wheel-throwing (minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 participants.*) (Ages 10+) $65 per person for hand building (minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 participants.*) *$20 additional fee will be added per participant on parties or 2 or 3.

Clay Parties for Kids
Throw your child’s next birthCLAY party at Compass Clay Studio, bring your Scout troop to learn about ceramics or just enjoy a fun activity with your favorites group of kids! Rate includes use of our classroom for 2 hours, instruction, clay, low-fire glazing, and all firings. You can pick up the finished works about 3 weeks after the party to allow time for drying and firings. We are happy to work with you and your children to design a unique project idea that everyone will love. Pinch pot tea cups, animal masks, and coil vases are some ideas. $295 for up to 6 participants. ($25 per each additional participant.)

**Private Party Cancellation, Confirmation and Pickup Policy A $50 deposit is required on all private event bookings. This deposit is fully refundable with a minimum of 48 hour cancellation notice. The deposit is non-refundable with cancellations made with less than 48 hour notice or on no-shows. To allow for studio set up, confirmation of party size and project type is needed within 48 hours of the event or the event will be cancelled without deposit refund. Pickups for private workshops and kids parties are the responsibility of the party host. It is the host's responsibility to pickup and distribute finished pieces to their guests and individual guest pickups cannot be accommodated through the studio.
